Wiley's Story...
Hey there, I am Wiley. I am a male black and tan Rottweiler mix boy. My date of birth is 8/24/2014 making me almost two years old weighing approximately 73 pounds. I came to the shelter when a kind person found me as a stray and brought me to the shelter. I am a big boy with a big voice but have a huge heart. I love attention and love giving hugs. I love to run and play in the yard but most of all I would love to find my furever home. My furever home has to be ready for me as I am a lot of dog and need training and attention. My adoption fee of $150 is quite comprehensive – I am neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, wormed, tested negative for Heartworm/Ehrlichia/Lyme Disease and current on monthly heartworm/flea/tick preventative. Please think consider making me part of your family, I’d love to run, frolic and play with you!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wiley, a Hawk Point Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Hawk Point, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Hawk Point.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hawk Point already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hawk Point breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hawk Point paves the way for another one to be saved.
