Facts about Whimsy

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black (All)
  • Age: Kitten
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Whimsy purrs easily and loves heights. She is active, playful, loving. A high-energy young lady who can make a toy out of anything. Whimsy is people-oriented and will greet anyone at the door. Especially thrilled to have someone play with her. When she's done playing, she hops up in a lap and curls up for a snooze.

Wee Whimsy needs someone to take a chance on her. This adorable wee girl, approximately 11 weeks old, is already spayed and vaccinated against distemper. Unfortunately, she had a very slightly positive feline leukemia test. As Whimsy has never had any symptoms whatsoever and is a playful, active, loving young lady, we are hoping that the test was a false positive. Whimsy is currently an only cat at a foster home (has been since she arrived in the rescue), but she desperately needs a forever home. If a forever home is not found, Whimsy will join six other cats in a feline leukemia room to live out her life. We'd love, love, love for this little one to have the joy of her own forever family. Due to the slightly positive test, Whimsy should not be adopted into a home with any other cats (until she is retested and determined to be truly positive or negative). Whimsy can be around dogs and kids and iguanas and anyone else, though. Whimsy is available for adoption for $40. She is litterbox trained and simply a delightful wee. We are hoping someone will take a chance and adopt this loving young lady.
