Archie and his siblings were found in a bag in a dumpster and taken to the Shelter - and subsequently rescued by OPA and bottle fed lovingly by their foster. 

Archie (AKA Junior)  - this funny little guy loves to climb and expore, but is a REALLY affectionate cat.  He is very cuddly with his sister, his foster kitty sister and brother, and even his doggy foster brother and sister.  He gets along well with children, other kitties,  and small dogs.  He likes to sleep at night between his human parents in bed.  His favorite toy is He is very good about only scratching on his scratching pads, and he loves to ride around the house on your shoulder while you do chores.

Operation Pets Alive! is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to working with people and government to provide life-saving, no-kill programs to our community (Montgomery County, Texas) through innovative programs that:
•Raise community awareness;
•Reduce the number of dogs and cats that enter our shelters;
•Increase the number of dogs and cats that leave our shelters alive.

Our Adoption Process...

1. Go to: http://www.operationpetsalive.org/AdoptionApplication.php and complete an Adoption Application.
2. Once application is received, we review the information and contact you with any questions and coordinate for you to meet the animal.
3. If the animal is a good fit for adoption, you will complete the adoption contract and adopt the pet.
4. We reserve the right to do home visits and contact your current vet if applicable with final adoption contingent on results. 5. The adoption fees are as follows:
Dogs: $150- includes being dewormed, current on vaccinations (first two DAPPs for puppies), heartworm tested (>6mo), spayed/neutered and rabies vaccination.
Cats: $75 - includes being dewormed, current on vaccinations, combo tested (exemptions for litters), spayed/neutered.
Texas Barn Cats: Two cats for $50 each with each additional cat for $30 - includeds spayed/neutered, ear tipping, FVRCP and 1 year rabies.
