Bear is very affectionate and loves people. He seems to love all people but he has not been observed with children. He got along well with an elderly Chihuahu. He definitely wants to be the alpha dog and would probably do best where he can be the only dog.
He seems to enjoy running and would make a great running buddy. He needs some training but does fairly well on the leash. He picked up the few basic commands his rescuer taught him quickly. We believe he has a lot of potential to be a great pet for someone who is willing to train and spend quality time with him. He truly wants to be a best friend!
