Shelley is a mature lady who is very comfortable in her own skin. She doesn't care where she is, she is smart enough to know that if there's food, water, shelter and the people are nice, she's good.
Shelley spends most of her days sleeping, though she has small bursts of puppy-like energy from time to time. She takes a tiny bit to warm up, but once she does, she is very cuddly and affectionate. She will follow you from room to room, just to be where you are, and she'll whine for you a little if you leave her. If anything really bums her out she'll just take a nap. There is nothing a nap can't fix.
The best home for Shelley is a chill home where someone is around most of the time. She is house trained, but she can't hold it for very long anymore. Tile flooring and some pee pads might also be of assistance, or perhaps a doggie door. She is very tolerant of both other dogs and kids. She especially loves little kids.
Shelley just wants to nap, be loved on, and love in return. If you can provide her these things, then you will be golden.
