Millie (Tri Pod)'s Story...
Hello everyone my name is Millie! Im a 1-2 year old Retriever mix. I came from a rural shelter in South Carolina I was found after I had chewed my legs off from being stuck in a bear trap. I like other dogs and even cats. Im not to interested in toys yet but im willing to learn. Ill go into my crate or bed without being asked and chew on my bone until its time to go out. Getting around on 3 legs is no biggie and doesnt stop me from bouncing around and saying hi when you come home from being out. I do have some fears to over come but with a new owner working with me it shouldnt be hard to get over the hump. Do you think you could be my new family?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Millie (Tri Pod), a Media Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Media, or seeking a Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Media.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Media already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Media breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Media paves the way for another one to be saved.
