Stickers's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Stickers's Story...
I have this cute habit of sleeping with my tongue sticking out. I can sleep anywhere. All the world is a toy to me. Stickers is my name and enjoying life is my game.I like to play, what the birds and carry toys in my mouth. I like the fuzzy balls which are just my size to play and carry around. I have fun with all my friends. We sit and watch TV too. I still have not caught those rolling words along the bottom of the screen. One day I will. Take me home and I will stick to you just like glue.

Are you interested in adopting Stickers or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.

Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center) or at Petsmart in Smithfield.

We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application for Stickers.

Thanks for thinking adoption!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stickers, a Smithfield Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Smithfield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Smithfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smithfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smithfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smithfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
