Abbot is a mellow and friendly puppy boy. He is good with people and children. He gets along well with dogs as well as cats.

Abbott is a very mellow boy, observant and well behaved. Abbott tends to be shy with strangers, but once he warms up he's a total goofy love ball! He is a bit cautious and timid to try new things, but with little encouragement, he will move along. He loves doggie playmates; he gets along very well with dogs of all sizes. We can’t be certain of his mix but he has the most striking coat color and the best characteristics of his Lab-heritage: smart, affectionate, playful…plus the most soulful amber eyes in the world! He is a young pup with great temperament; with some basic training and proper socialization, Abbott will make a great family dog!

About Abbott’s rescue:
Abbott’s mother was found at a remote country side in central Taiwan. The mom was
pregnant at that time. The mom always stays at a distance from the rescuer and ate the food after the rescuer left. The rescuer put food and water at a dry tunnel to keep the mom staying at the same place. One month later, one day, the rescuer found the mother dog gave birth to 8 puppies inside the tunnel. The rescuer had to keep an eye on them and supplied food and water for the mom to help her nurture the puppies.
Their lives were in imminent danger before they were rescued hours before the dog catcher would cruelly take them to the pound. The puppies were rushed to the vet; other than skin infections, the puppies are overall in good health. They were well vetted and carefully nursed back to health. Abbott is one of these puppies.

Abbott is a healthy and good looking boy. He is ready for adoption. We are looking for a family that understands the responsibilities of raising a puppy. Abbott will make a great companion for family that can offer him a safe and happy dog life.
