ARA Canine Rescue inc (Alleys Rescued Angels) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all volunteer, husky rescue organization based in Apple Valley, California. We have a 10 acre ranch where all of our rescued huskies have comfortable kennels and get plenty of socialization and playtime as they await their new families.
We rescue not only the healthy and perfect huskies from the shelters, we save the medical dogs: the ones hit by cars, the injured and the sick. We rescue the blind dogs, the seniors, the ones that get left behind.
We pay for vet care and operations and provide our rescued dogs with safety and love and a place to call home until their perfect match finds them. See videos of our ranch and the rescued huskies at play.
In 2012 we were the proud recipients of an award from the California State Senate and in 2013 Guidestar.org, one of the benchmark charity watchdog organization, awarded us the partner in trust seal for our commitment to transparency. We are also a Heigl Foundation approved rescue partner.
All adoptions meetings our done by appt. only and we are happy to help you at any time but we must insist on an approved application before meeting any of our dogs.
Our Adoption Process...
We ask all adopters to complete an adoption contract. Fees are based on the costs of saving, spaying, neutering, vaccines, Standard adoption fee ranges from $185.00 to $400.00 depending on the costs associated with getting your chosen pet ready for adoption.
