My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet little Shih Tzu mix is approx 6 years old and 11 lbs. She is just a darling little dog. She is still a little shy and timid with new people and will need some time to settle into a new home. She is very quiet and well behaved and gets along well with the other dogs but is not one to run and play with them. She seems to be pretty well leash and house trained. We think she would thrive in an all adult home or one with children over 12.

The total adoption donation of $475 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. .

Just as a note, if you are in Massachusetts and are adopting directly from Texas rather than from a local foster, there are new quarantine laws in effect. All rescues must be quarantined 48 hours at a state run facility, and in addition, a second interstate health certificate is required to be issued by a Massachusetts vet. This new law adds an additional cost of $125.
