Bella's Story...
If you are a human looking for a sweet cat companion, consider welcoming Bella into your life.

Bella is a dainty 3-year old tabby with ticked markings and white paws. She loves, loves, loves people! She doesn't even seem to mind being on display at adoption showings. A playful, adventurous little girl, in her foster home she managed to perch on top of the shower door and get herself locked in a closet all in one day.

Bella would like to be your one and only pet. She has tried living in a home with other animals - not her cup of tea. However, she is very comfortable in her current foster home where she is the only cat. A permanent home with a loving person is what she craves.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Castro Valley Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
