Meet Frisky, he is around 4 years old and 40 to 45 pounds. He is very playful and loves to play with tennis balls. He is a little shy at first but warms up once he knows he can trust you. See Frisky came to us from a family who beat him! So he has to learns he can trust you and then he is your best friend. He is terrified of a leash, act like a unbroken horse. He could use a lot of help with leash. Frisky is good with other dogs. No cats or squirrels!! He is a very loving boy who is looking for a forever home where he knows he will always be loved and safe.

About Hickman Humane Society

About Our Rescue Group...

Our mission and focus is to benefit the lives of the animals and people in our county by providing for the humane treatment of pets thru foster care, appropriate medical care, rehabilitation of pets, comprehensive adoption coordination, consistent spay/neuter funding programs and public education with a goal of reducing the homeless pet population, irresponsible breeding and the prevention of cruelty and neglect to animals.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

Since ALL of our funding is from donations (we are not supported by a government agency), fundraising and a few spay/neuter grants, we always need monetary donations and food and supply donations including straw and bedding material. With winter coming we could really use some more dog houses and tarps (used is welcome). Used crates are also always needed. Pick up can be arranged within a reasonable distance. Thank you for your support.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our pets are in foster homes with families to help them transition better into YOUR family. Please email our adoption coordinator at jeibrab@aol.com for more details.
