Hattie in AR's Story...
Hattie is a sweet, 5-year-old wheaten girl that came to Colonel Potter from a breeding situation. Hattie was pregnant when she came to Colonel Potter and had her puppies only 3 days after arriving. She is currently raising what will be her last batch of puppies, and is looking forward to retiring to a loving forever home. Hattie loves human attention, but hasn't had much time to learn about her new life of freedom and living in a home since she has a little family to care for.

Hattie is up to date on her vaccinations and heartworm negative, but will need to be spayed once she is done nursing.

Hattie is being fostered in Rogers, Arkansas in a PRIVATE FOSTER HOME but we allow our dogs to be adopted out all over the United States and Canada!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hattie in AR, a Fort Worth Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
