Jenny in TX's Story...
This little beauty is a petite girl who knows how to snuggle with her people, and would rather be in the company of her family and furry friends than anything. Wherever we go, Jenny follows us and the 2 other Cairns who live here. She walks OK on the leash and pulls just as hard as the resident dogs. She has learned how to bark at seagulls and anything else that may fly over.

Jenny has not had any accidents in the house and potties outside with the rest of the crew. At night she sleeps in her crate without a peep and is happily wagging her tail when we stir in the morning. Jenny has learned to get along peacefully with our 2 dogs and loves to chase a ball or play with a fuzzy toy that squeaks. Since she was just spayed one week ago we have kept rough play and long walks out of the picture.
Jenny is ready to find that special home willing to keep her for life.

Jenny is being fostered in Galveston, Texas in a PRIVATE FOSTER HOME but we allow our dogs to be adopted out all over the United States and Canada!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jenny in TX, a Fort Worth Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
