Tumnus in TX's Story...

Tumnus, or Tumi as he is called in his foster home, has successfully completed his heartworm treatment and is now available. Tumi is an extremely athletic dog. He runs like the wind when he chases squirrels. He easily has a three foot vertical leap. He was running in the backyard recently and looked very graceful, much like a deer running - bounding as he ran. He loves his food, and absolutely loves killing toys. He will shake a toy unmercifully from side to side and will also try to destuff it. This boy is full of life and ready for adoption. So fill out that application and you and Tumi can have some fun ASAP! CLICK HERE FOR LOTS MORE INFORMATION AND UPDATES ON TUMNUS IN TEXAS
TUMNUS is being fostered in HOUSTON, TEXAS in a PRIVATE FOSTER HOME but we allow our dogs to be adopted out all over the United States and Canada!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tumnus in TX, a Fort Worth Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
