Sneakers in LA's Story...

Let me introduce myself. I'm Sneakers and I am 9 years old. I know they are going to put 'Senior' beside my name but I am NOT a senior! Cairns live to 15 or 16 all the time. That makes me 'middle-aged'. I have no problem keeping up with the 3 year old resident boys. In fact I think I am faster than them and KNOW I'm smarter because I can sneak that squeaky ball away from the resident dog before he knows I've even got it. I love, love, love squeaky toys. A wonderful Col. Potter volunteer sent me some squeaky toys before I even got here and they are all mine, mine, mine! If you've got some squeaky toys at your house, you might be my new family!

SNEAKERS is being fostered in HAUGHTON, LOUISIANNA in a PRIVATE FOSTER HOME but we allow our dogs to be adopted out all over the United States and Canada!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sneakers in LA, a Fort Worth Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
