Stevie Bear in TX's Story...

Please welcome Stevie Bear to the Col. Potter family. He was out of time in a shelter and Col. Potter was contacted. A wonderful volunteer picked him up, and he spent the next week receiving his spa treatment. Fortunately, he is heartworm negative. This little guy (and I do mean little) just oozes sweet! He LOVES people and will follow you around the house. He gets along fine with the resident Cairns, but hasn't shown a lot of interest in them. He might be OK with cats but his foster home isn't sure on that yet. Stevie Bear is a quiet boy, but will chime in when the other dogs bark with the most adorable AROOO. We are working on his housebreaking, so he currently wears a belly band when free in the house. If you are in the market for a sweet, loving boy, then Stevie Bear is the one for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stevie Bear in TX, a Fort Worth Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
