Her name is Cotton, but we've been calling her 'Candy', as in 'Cotton Candy'. She's one of the 'Fabrics To Keep You Warm' group of pups brought into Col. Potter a few weeks ago. She's small in stature, but big in heart. She's wheaten in color with dark ears. She makes funny little 'snuffling' noises but can also bark with the best of them - a kind of raspy bark. She's sweet, gentle, playful and she's been a commercial breeding dog for her entire life. But now she's free and ready to begin her new life and find a forever home to love and protect her.
Cotton had some MAJOR medical issues but she is on the long road to recovery and is READY! Ready, and waiting for your application! Cotton's recovery has been dramatic. The seroma (swelling) on her little tummy is almost entirely gone, and in time should totally disappear, leaving her with only the scar to show what she's gone through on her journey to freedom. She's spunky, that's for sure. I think she's turning into a Cairn princess, just waiting for the day when she can be the boss over her foster brother and sisters. She's been through a lot, and it's taken a while for her to feel well enough to play, and run and bark and act silly, but she's starting to do it all. I'm positive she has more surprises for me as she continues her recovery. Cotton has given foster mom lots of love and I know she has lots to give to you, too. Someone out there will adopt this charming, adorable little girl! So take a moment to submit an application so that she can be 'forever home'.
