Barnabas in MI's Story...
Barnabas is adjusting well here. He gets excited when we go out, wagging his tail and grumbling. He's a very sweet boy who likes to be around people and my dog. Going into the crate is still not his favorite thing to do. He sometimes fusses at first but then quiets down. I continue to feed him in the crate and put treats inside to tempt him in during the day. He goes in on his own. The vet thinks he might have had a bad experience involving a crate. He still loves the squeaky ball and entertains himself. Apply for Barnabas! He's ready for his forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barnabas in MI, a Medina Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Medina, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Medina.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medina already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medina breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medina paves the way for another one to be saved.
