Taryn in IL's Story...
Taryn is ready for a forever home that will not allow her to be the boss. She is possibly the best dog I've ever had in my home but she has to be shown who is the boss. Her housebreaking is perfect; I've left her loose in my home with five other Cairns for 6 hours and there was no problem. I have complete faith in her. She is not at all destructive and enjoys meeting people, which could be a problem if someone is not holding her leash firmly. She would run across a street to meet someone if she got loose and not look for cars. For this reason I would prefer a home with a yard. If you can be more alpha than a 13 pound Cairn you will have a absolutely perfect little Cairn!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Taryn in IL, a Medina Cairn Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Medina, or seeking a Cairn Terrier puppy from a breeder in Medina.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medina already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medina breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medina paves the way for another one to be saved.
