As you may recall, U.S. soldier Jessica Lynch was rescued from Iraq after her humvee came under attack. Broken and battered, she endured months of rehabilitation for physical and emotional trauma, overcoming the adversities that were not of her making. Col. Potter recently welcomed her namesake, Jessica, a 9-year-old reddish-wheaten girl, who is also working to overcome her own adversities. Five years ago Jessica's tail was nicked by a groomer - a small nick. It healed, but Jessica kept digging at her tail, which then became a major source of pain and discomfort. After various treatments at four clinics failed, Jessica kept chewing and eventually severed her own tail. She was turned in to Col. Potter where her tail was tended with surgery to close the tip properly. Jessica ........
