Renate in IL's Story...

Renate has embraced her retirement from commercial breeding. This girl is the most loving and snuggly dog we have encountered. Even as she flattens to the ground in submission as you approach, she crawls toward you for love and scritches. Renate is a happy girl who spends her day carrying toys to different dog beds and squeaking them in turn. She thoroughly enjoyed playing chase with our former foster and they often cuddled in the same dog bed. Renate has learned to go up and down the four steps to the backyard. She has made excellent progress in housebreaking. Renate has dry eye, which requires ointment in her eyes each morning and evening. She waits patiently and never complains. Are you looking for a sweet, cuddly little buddy? You don't have to look any further than Renate!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Renate in IL, a Medina Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Medina, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Medina.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medina already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medina breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medina paves the way for another one to be saved.
