Kearny in OR's Story...
Kearny is changing so much each week I hardly know what to say about him. He's lovey, but very easily distracted and loves to follow Korkeer or Ninji around for adventure. He's more assertive than a few weeks ago, but still gentle and easygoing. It's impossible to say whether his ears will stand, but he and Korkeer have longer ears, so if you like the flop eared munchkins, this might be your boy!

Kearney is young and has not yet been neutered. Please click on the Adoption FAQ's link below for details on adopting a puppy who is not yet old enough for a spay or neuter.
Korkeer is being fostered in Portland, Oregon in a PRIVATE FOSTER HOME but we allow our dogs to be adopted out all over the United States and Canada!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kearny in OR, a Portland Cairn Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Cairn Terrier puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
