I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, and not good with kids.
Lavern in BC's Story...
Lavern has made brilliant progress in her foster home. She is a very pretty 15 pound, wheaten girl, who can now run up and down stairs, eat cheese from my hand, ride in the car, walk on leash, hang out with the 2 resident Cairns, and ask for skritches and tummy rubs. She has earned the right to the run of the house; I just have to be sure that I know what her bladder schedule is. She is a reserved, very observant lady who has learned so much in the past few weeks that I am looking forward to seeing what she accomplishes next. She now bounces out of her crate in the morning, and gets all frisky when we come back in the house from our walks.
She will make a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys being stopped on the street for chats with everyone who sees her as she is SO pretty. She asks for and expects nothing, but treats everything that comes her way, including affection, as gifts from heaven. She has grown taller since arriving, and her gorgeous brown eyes now exude trust and loyalty. If you want a crash-about, ball chaser, this is not the dog for you, but if you want a demure, gentle, polite and appreciative soul, you could love Lavern.
