Binky in BC's Story...

Hi fans! I am having the best time! My foster mom is doing lots of cleaning and I am observing her carefully and figuring out ways to help. I often pre-rinse the dishes before they are washed and inspect cabinets for cleanliness. I am learning to do lots of stuff. I also love my walks. My foster sister, Sophie, goes with us. She is slow and a little overweight so we are trying to get her in shape. She has to run to keep up. Sometimes we go to the beautiful park nearby and I love that. There are so many squirrels to check out! I am working on the word 'Slow'. We try it when I am walking and I even will sit sometimes if I am not too busy checking out something else. I have to have drops in my eyes twice a day. I love that and just sit still while foster mom drops them in my eyes. This week I am having the pressure checked in them to see how they are doing. I'll let you know more about that soon. Well, I have to get back to my many chores so I have to say bye for now! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Binky in BC, a Portland Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
