Chuy is chompin’ at the bit to find her forever home and is now ready for adoption. She will have completed doggy obedience class by the end of July. She has been excelling at all she is learning. Chuy prefers to be an only dog mainly because of fear that makes her guarded of her personal space with other dogs. But she has been doing quite well at becoming more relaxed around other dogs. Her progress is due to her obedience class and the pack she has been living with here in foster care. Chuy is an affectionate girl. She would curl up next to her person and cuddle for hours if she could. She is a very good girl while being groomed - even with nail trims! Chuy can be athletic and playful. She loves long walks on the property and the beach. She enjoys car rides as long as she can sniff the air and have some wind in her face. She has the rough Cairn coat which makes her perfect for outdoor activities. I bet she would love to be a boat dog to sail the seas and feel the salt air in her face. So if you are looking for just the right four legged companion to sail of into the sunset with, get your application in for Chuy! She will be the perfect first mate.
