KEEVA IN CA's Story...

I just couldn't wait to tell you that I'm ready for adoption! We are still working on my potty training, but my foster mom and dad are getting better at it. There is some excitement going on here and Foster Mom told me that it's all about my foster sister Auntie Em. She turned three this week and we are having a party play date. Foster Mom invited Auntie Em's brother Rowdy and another rescue doggie named Cooper. Rowdy is red like me. We are going to have special treats and we will get to play until our tongues are dragging on the ground (at least that’s what foster Mom said). It's going to be this Sunday morning. Don't worry, I'll be sure to tell you all about it! I'll even get foster Mom to send you some pictures!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

KEEVA IN CA, a Portland Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
