Hello! It's me Ibis, aka Bessie. You wouldn't believe how much I've learned since coming to stay with my foster family! My foster brother showed me how to sniff and smell everything. I love smelling and rolling around in the grass. I’m learning how to sit (Foster Mom makes me do it before I get to go on a walk), and I know “Up,” “Down,” and “No.” You should see me walk on a leash! When I get excited on a walk, I gather myself up and bound ahead. I'm so cute with my tail up in the air as I'm bopping along.
I'm shy with new people but it only takes a little time and my personality comes out. Loud noises startle me, so my foster family is helping to desensitize me by banging around in the kitchen and clomping on the floor. I'm getting more and more used to it every day. My skin is still a little irritated but it's much better than when I first arrived. The sores I had have healed up. My fur is coming in and my coat is going to be so pretty once it's all grown in. I’ve put on some muscle and my girly figure is filling out. I'm pretty!
I'm on a good schedule and I do well with it. In the morning...
