Screwdriver in CT's Story...
Screwdriver is a tiny little boy - just retired from a commercial breeding facility. He's very quiet and loves to nap in a warm, soft spot. He gets along with other dogs and tolerates cats, though he'll chase them if given an opportunity. He's discovering toys and likes to carry balls around. He doesn't play with the other dogs yet, but he sure likes to watch what they do! Screwdriver follows his foster mom everywhere. His favorite spot is wherever she is. He's been busy learning some household rules and is working on his housebreaking. In the meantime, he's waiting patiently for his forever home to find him. Could it be yours?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Screwdriver in CT, a Whitesboro Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Whitesboro, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Whitesboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Whitesboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Whitesboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Whitesboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
