My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brownbee arrived in our home just over two weeks ago and what terrific strides have already been made! The first few days were a little rough though. I think Brownbee was still in survival mode when he arrived but after a couple of days (once he discovered that there was a regular schedule, regular mealtimes and a safe atmosphere) he relaxed, made himself at home, and everyone, including the resident dogs, got along. What a smart little fella Brownbee is! After only two days he had mastered the stairs, learned some basic commands like 'Sit', and waits for his food patiently as he knows his turn is after the other two dogs have been fed. And what manners! Brownbee doesn't even have to be asked to sit while breakfast or dinner are being served. We have been for many walks to town or to the beach and this sweet boy is such a great walker, easily keeping pace with my other young Cairn. When we return home, Brownbee is happy to nap in his crate - as long as he gets some snuggle time with any of the resident humans. Brownbee is being fostered in Sag Harbor, New York in a PRIVATE FOSTER HOME but we allow our dogs to be adopted out all over the United States and Canada!
