My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Schatzi is ready for adoption! Her skin infection is gone and lots of new hair is growing in on her back, belly and legs. She needs to remain on a grain-free diet or she will develop skin problems again. She is a very sweet girl who loves to get attention. If you are sitting on the floor and petting her, she will rub against you in much the same way a cat does. She loves to lie in the sun in the backyard and at night she is an intrepid toad hunter. We have lots of toads here, none poisonous thankfully, as she has not figured out not to pick them up with her mouth. I usually go out before the dogs at night to scare the toads away or toss them over the fence, but sometimes I miss one or two and she usually doesn’t. In her previous write up I recommended she be an only dog in her forever home and that remains the same. Sometimes she is fine with the other dogs in the house and sometimes she is not. She is unpredictable and as such it is better not to take the chance of having another dog. She is very jealous when I give my dogs attention. Although eleven-years-old may seem old to you, you would never know it to spend time with her. She is as active as any of my dogs, and I have a three-year-old. Schatzi is ready for her forever home to find her! Could you be the lucky one for her? CLICK HERE FOR LOTS MORE INFORMATION AND UPDATES ON SCHATZI IN SOUTH CAROLINA
