Catera in MO's Story...
I would like to introduce you to my new foster Catera. She has the most beautiful black coat; unfortunately her colors could change drastically. Catera loves to play with my other fur kids. In fact many times she initiates the play. We've also had other furkids visiting, and she loved playing with them also, but Catera is still very shy around humans. She will either run in her crate or go out the doggy door. She is starting to trust us for giving her treats, but as soon as she takes it she retreats to a safe distance. If you have the patience to help this little girl blossom, she will steal your heart quickly.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Catera in MO, a Topeka Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Topeka, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Topeka.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Topeka already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Topeka breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Topeka paves the way for another one to be saved.
