Meet the beautiful Penny. She is a 7 year old petite German shepherd mix who weighs 49 pounds. Penny loves to go for walks; she is energetic and up for adventures. She walks very nicely on leash around other dogs and people. She is very smart and a quick learner. Penny lives in a foster home where she is doing great around the house; she is calm and patient, very friendly towards guests coming to visit and across the board - a great and loving companion according to her foster mom. Penny loves to go for car rides and also relax at home. She is fine with other dogs but does not care much about having a canine companion; she would be just as happy being the only dog in a household. This is a great girl for someone who is looking for an easy going dog who is mature and can be home alone while you are at work. Penny is already spayed, up-to-date with shots, house-trained, crate- trained and micro-chipped.

For more information on Penny, you can contact her foster mom Michelle directly: michellerich0927@gmail.com or call: 818-407-4145.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penny, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
