Leia: 2 year old spayed female Samoyed/ Australian Shepherd mix

This sweet girl has had a rough start in life but is on the road to recovery. Leia found herself in a rural shelter after her previous owner abandoned her during a robbery he was involved in. She waited in the shelter for an adopter but nobody came. The shelter became very full and Leia's time was running out. An awesome 4P2L foster stepped up to get Leia out. During the vetting process we found out Leia is heartworm positive and will require expensive treatment to get better before she is available for adoption. We are so glad we are able to help this sweet soul on her journey of healing and eventually to a loving forever home she deserves.
