Facts about Franklin

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Tan Or Fawn Tabby
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Franklin has a way of making you feel like you've known him forever. His old soul and charming personality is a great combination that fits in perfectly with any type of family.
He was found living outside and was fending for himself, but we quickly knew by his reaction to us that he clearly wanted to be loved and valued.
He has been around other cats and is being fostered with a parrot so he adjusts pretty quickly to new things.
Franklin loves attention and will follow you around for more pets! He would love to lay on the couch with you… or maybe take a cat nap in his very own cat bed near a sunny window!

Franklin has tested positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus), He is not sick at all and can live a perfectly normal life. Franklin is not contagious to people or dogs, but should be the only cat or live only with other FeLV+ cats.

Since cats with FeLV have a lower immune system, it will sometimes lead to a shortened lifespan, Franklin is in need of an angel who will spoil him with love for all of his days, you in turn will be rewarded 100 times over!

This cat is in a foster home and is available to meet during the week per request.

Prospective adopters will fill out a prescreening form. Once that is reviewed, the adoption can be done.
Each pet is priced according to what vetting we have to do.
If we get a dog that is already spayed/neutered,and we have to just vaccinate it, then the fee is $100.00. If we have to do all the vetting for a dog, the fee is $250.00 which includes spay/neuter, heartworm test, and necessary vaccines. Cats are typically $100.00 which includes spay/neuter, distemper and rabies. If we test for FELV/FIV, then that is an additional $50.00 charge.
