Clark is an approximately 11 week old male MINI Australian shepherd X border collie puppy with a docked tail.

He is feisty, brave, resilient, affectionate, and is quite mature and confident for his age. He has no fear of playing with the big dogs, especially his best buddy Louie, and will sass his elders if they displease him or seem to be upsetting his friend. It’s really quite funny to watch this pint-sized guy defend his substantially larger big brother.

Clark enjoys playing with toys and playing tug, and has no fear of water. He rides well in the car and enjoys being held. Clark is not yet housetrained and still needs work in this area. Since he figured out the routine he’s been quiet at night while confined to the laundry room with his buddy Louie. However, he’s not fond of being in his crate any longer than it takes to eat his meal and is capable of being quite loud and vocal on such occasions, or when first let out with the other dogs in the morning.

Because he’s a blank slate at this age, it will be important for his new family to understand positive training techniques so they can help Clark become the best canine citizen he can be.

Please note: Clark can be vocal and acts more like a mini Australian shepherd than a border collie.

Clark is sponsored by the Idaho Domestic Animal Welfare Group. Upon approval, adopters must be willing to travel to southwest Idaho to meet Clark and will be asked to sign a contract that states that Clark will be neutered by the time he is 12 months of age.

His adoption fee of $200 includes first shots, microchip, collar and ID tag. In addition we will require a $200 deposit, which will be refunded when we receive proof of neuter.

If you are interested in possibly adopting Clark, please complete our on-line adoption application located here:
