Sparky (Neutered)'s Story...
"Sparky" is a handsome 4-year old male Boxer mix who was surrendered by his owner on July 7, 2016. "Sparky" has a white-and-black short smooth coat, a long tail, and a noble-looking face with a happy smile, a black button nose, and short semi-erect ears. This gorgeous guy has a friendly, outgoing personality and loves his people friends (including children). It takes him a little time to get comfortable with new people (which isn't that uncommon). "Sparky" tends to be protective of his food, and he doesn't do well with other male dogs (but seems to be ok with females). He really does not like kitties :( He is a friendly boy who knows some basic commands (shake, sit down, and roll). "Sparky" jumps to give hugs :) He is a big boy who currently weighs 79.6 lbs. "Sparky" has already been neutered.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sparky (Neutered), a Marietta Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
