I am up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Meet Sugar and Pepper!
I rescued these two beautiful blue-eyed babies, brother and sister, on the fourth of July. They were emaciated, malnourished, and cuddled up together in a cardboard box (as shown). With a lot of love and food, they are on their way to getting their baby fat back! They will be ready for adoption with their second set of shots on July 13! The female, Pepper, is sassy and spicy. She is very playful. The boy, Sugar, loves to be held and cuddled.
Pepper was born with a recessed vulva which means she is susceptible to urinary tract and vaginal infections. The doctor says it may heal on its own as she gets older, but if not, she may require surgery to prevent infections. In the meantime, we keep the area clean with antibacterial wipes.
These two love each other and spend a lot of time cuddling, but they do not need to be adopted together. They will be happy in a home as the only dog, or with other pets.
Potential adopters must agree to have the puppies spayed/fixed when they are age appropriate, to prevent situations just like this – unwanted puppies that are not getting the love and care they deserve. I can help you find free or low-cost spay clinics.
Sugar and Pepper spend time with me both in the bay area and in the Sacramento area.
