Henry's Story...
Oh Henry!

What a sweet little treat of a boy!  Meet Henry he is 8 weeks old (as of 6/11/13) and comes equipped with a tasty little white spot on his nose tip just made for planting kisses on!  He has medium haired black and white fur, is wearing white socks, little white tufts of fur peak out of his ears and his whiskers they are white too!   A super playful boy who loves his toys, loves to wrestle with his sibling Britt and he pounces too!  Hunching down and springing out to wrap his human in a paw-full of love.  Immediately on contact he is purring, his little motor running softly. When he gets tired, he melts in your hands and cuddles hard.   All this wrapped in a package that has 0 carbs 0 calories 0 sugars yet is 100% sweet!  How could it get better than that?  So please adopt and take this treat home with you, guaranteed you will not regret it the next day!

All our kittens will arrive at their forever homes neutered or spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and tested for FIV/FeLV prior to being adopted.  Email us at  adoption@smittenwithkittens.net  for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Henry, a Tallahassee Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tallahassee, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tallahassee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tallahassee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tallahassee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tallahassee paves the way for another one to be saved.
