Finch is currently in a foster home, and not at the shelter. Keep reading for more details!

Hello! I'm Finch, and I'm a great exercise-buddy, an accomplished stand-up comedian, and a champion lap dog - all 50 pounds of me. I'm a warm body to sleep with, and I don't know a bad day. I celebrate life, and want to celebrate with my forever family!

My foster mom really enjoys walking with me - I walk at a fast pace, and stay quiet when dogs bark at me. I like every person I meet. Foster mom took me to a beach recently and I started to swim. Perhaps my swimming career still lays ahead of me!

I enjoy throwing 'Welcome Home!' parties, by picking up a toy and trotting around with a big smile on my handsome face. I'm also famous for my 'Party of One'- I throw my Nylabone up in the air, and dance and sing around it.

I form deep bonds, and want to be an important member of my forever family. No more shuffling around for this guy. I'm in it for the long haul...

I love a fenced yard, to lounge outside in the sun with you, snack on grass, talk to the neighbors, and run around!

I've had both of my ACLs repaired (that's my knees!), so I'm part bionic dog! I have a bit of arthritis but it doesn't slow me down. At all. I should reiterate here that I'm an *active* dog on the go. I LOVE massages, and they're good for me too!

Nobody knows my actual age, and I honestly don't recall. I probably 7-8, but I have the youthful exuberance of a 3 year old. I'm looking for a family to invest fully in my quality of life.

If you're looking for a deep and loving connection with a joyful, silly, sometimes vocal dog, I may be the one for you.
