Aria's Story...
**This animal is available for adoption at the PetSmart Everyday Adoption Center in Plymouth Meeting**

Aria was down and out--a stray with a dangling, broken leg when she was scooped up by the animal control officers and whisked away to the shelter. This adorable 8-year-old tabby and white gal ended up having her badly shattered left hind leg amputated, but that hasn't slowed her down one bit! Since going into foster care, Aria has enjoyed sunbathing, having lots of pets, and greeting her foster mama with kitty chatter when she enters the room. She loves a good meal (especially wet food!), and she's living harmoniously with a kitten who also lost her same leg. She's even good with older children, but she prefers to be in a home where kids will let her have her space to relax and lounge around the house. This pretty girl thinks cardboard scratchers are pretty great, and she has perfect litter box habits. Aria is fixed, up-to-date on vaccines, and ready to come home with you today. Open your heart and home to this lovely lady so she can finally have her furever home and sing an aria of her own!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aria, a Plymouth Meeting Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Plymouth Meeting, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Plymouth Meeting.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plymouth Meeting already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plymouth Meeting breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plymouth Meeting paves the way for another one to be saved.
