If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website, for details about our fees and process, and to complete our Pre-Qualification Form. ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis. We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.
Hailey is a 8 year old chocolate lab who was surrendered to ARPO after her owners no longer wanted her. She is extremely affectionate and obedient and knows commands in English and Spanish. She's a big girl at 80 lbs and is a typical lab when it comes to food. You need a mop near her water bowl and her tail is a registered lethal weapon but she's a sweetheart. She is housetrained and gets along great with adults and children. Hailey will need a home as the only pet; she really prefers people over other animals. Don't let her age fool you. She's still very active and needs a secure fenced yard. Hailey has gone through treatment for heartworms, and is looking for a committed and responsible owner who will make sure she receives her heartworm medication year-round.
