Potter's Story...
Meet Potter----a year old 13 lb. male poodle that is full of energy !! He LOVES playing with another dog and can play non-stop. He fetches toys and is a great walker too. He is very agile and would be a good candidate for agility training---very athletic little fella. Potter would very much like a fenced yard. He likes being with you and bonds quickly. Potter is fully vetted---neutered, vaccines, hw test, groomed, micro-chipped and treating for ear yeast infection. He is doing great with potty habits. He can be a little shy at first but doesn't take a second for him to warm up----because of how much he likes to play he probably would not be a good fit for small children. An active family would be a perfect match for Potter. Potter was found in a trap and was a matted mess so we had to shave him down.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Potter, a Franklin Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Franklin, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Franklin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Franklin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Franklin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Franklin paves the way for another one to be saved.
