Ginny Faye is a lady who knows what she wants, and she knows how to get it: Smile! Have you ever seen a better pibble grin than the one Ginny Faye puts on first thing in the morning and wears throughout the day? We love it! Ginny Faye is a home body extraordinaire, she love her people and she loves her routine. Out and about is fine and dandy, but Ginny Faye shines at home whether it be helping you garden or helping hold down the sofa whilst taking in a good chick flick or indulging a Game of Thrones binge. Need a constant sidekick? Ginny Faye is your gal!

Ginny Faye has excellent house manners, she even lays on her back to let you cut her nails...just don't forget to pet her belly during her pedicure. Crate? No problem, but she also does just fine left loose in the house and is completely non-destructive. Other dogs? You bet, but the boorish, bossy types are not for her, she prefers her canine companions to be laid back, and often her best doggie friends have been the smaller kiddos. Company? Meh, she'd prefer a quieter household and may even have a preference to go to her crate to avoid the hustle and bustle of entertaining. Yeah, our girl can be something of an introvert at times, but to each, their own. There's one thing Ginny Faye could do without and that's thunderstorms. She's not destructive or overly anxious, she just really prefers to be in her own safe space to ride out the storm. Quite honestly, we can't say we blame her!

Ginny Faye would love to find an empty nester home or a quiet home with an older person who needs a sweet sidekick to spend their days with. A somewhat active household would be fine too, but hectic and busy days are not really her cup of tea. Does Ginny Faye sound like the ray of sunshine you've been looking for to brighten your days? She'd love to meet you, email sotb.adoptions@gmail.com to adopt Ginny Faye.

Our adoption fee is $195. This covers spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, all age appropriate vaccines, and any needed vet care.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption Approval Process for South of the Bully

• An Adoption Application must be completed and approved. We call and check vet references to make sure any current pets are up to date with vaccinations and check length of time under vet care. We review all their current pets and ask questions about their temperament to make sure the dog they want to adopt would be a good fit.

• If a dog has been chosen, a meet and greet is arranged if requested AFTER the application is approved. If they have other pets, we also like them to meet at this time, if possible.

• The final step is a home visit. If the home visit is approved the potential adopters can begin their 14 day trial adoption period. Our adoption fee is $195 which includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations and microchip. If for some reason the dog isn’t a fit in their home we refund $95 of the adoption fee within the 14 day trial period. This is all listed in our Adoption Contract.

• We offer training support and resources for the lifetime of the dog once adopted. Our contract states that if for any reason they cannot continue to provide care for one of our dogs that it be returned to our rescue.
