Nyla is a 10-year-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix who is sweet as honey. Perhaps a smidgen shy, but it takes about two seconds to convince her that you're actually her best friend, and then she is more than happy to be handled and cuddled. She totally loves treats! Cookies are the way to her heart. She already knows 'sit' and some other basic commands. Nyla's favorite activities include going for walks, playing fetch with her toys and snuggling with you. She is house-trained and rides well in the car. Nyla gets along fine with other dogs while she's out and about. She even likes to play with one other dog, but can feel jealous at times and would be just as content being an only-dog in her future home. Nyla came to us from the SPCA for Monterey County. She was surrendered there with Reilly (also available for adoption) when her family was moving out of the country. After getting to know them, we realized they would okay being adopted out to separate homes.
