Traveler's Story...
Traveler has packed his bags and moved on a couple times in his young life but is now in rescue and ready to finally find the forever home he deserves. This black and rust 4 yr. old started out as a chained outdoor dog before moving to his next home. The family already had a pot-bellied pig and unfortunately Traveler and the new playmate just didn't hit it off. Traveler is a playful doberboy that gets along with most small dogs. He is smart and wants to please but needs dog savvy owners that are calm and consistent with expectations. Traveler is sweet and loving and will make a wonderful companion and best friend in the right home. Come and meet Traveler at our next adoption event!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Traveler, a Columbus Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
