for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Carlos's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Carlos's Story...
Cocoa is an excitable and happy 1.5 year old Lab Mix looking for an equally loving family. He is a big boy weighing 90 pounds. He would make an awesome companion for an active family with a fenced yard. He knows his basic commands and is very eager to please! He loves other dogs and would play all day if allowed! He should meet any potential dog siblings, but would prefer a home without cats. He has experience with children but because of his size and excitability a home with children over 8 would be best. Cocoa is neutered, house trained, crate trained, and adapts easily. He has a lot of love and energy to give! Adopters must own their home and have a fully fenced yard. His adoption fee is $150. Visit mustlovedogsnw.org to download the adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carlos, a Vancouver Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
