Ginger's Story...

Meet Ginger. She's a beautiful female boxer, around 5-6 years of age. She had severe trauma to her head back in March, which required extensive medical care to treat the wounds she sustained. Since then, she has made a full recovery. She enjoys playing with other large dogs (especially boxers) and enjoys her mid-day naps as well. She is a bundle of love and excitement. She also enjoys the company of older kids. Ginger was previously an out door dog and has been working on her potty training habits and is doing very well so far. Ginger has been through a lot recently and is ready to find her forever home. Please let us know if you have any questions about Ginger.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger, a Clayton Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Clayton, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Clayton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clayton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clayton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clayton paves the way for another one to be saved.
