Coco has shown food aggression issues in the past. We suggest a home with another dog that is not food aggressive. Besides the food aggression the other aggression we have witnessed is long lasting dog bones. To resolve this, we only give treats that can be eaten with 30 minutes. She has also shown aggression to her personal space when crated but nothing serious unless you are trying to take her food. She however, does fine sharing everything else.
We would recommend a home with older teenagers that will understand her boundaries. Due to unknown past situations Coco startles easily when being woke up and we suggest waking her from a distance. She is also fearful of brooms, mops, anything on a pole, and plastic bags. We would also suggest a male companion similar in size or a non-dominant female as Coco can be very pushy.
