Cuddles & Squirt's Story...
Cuddles is a very beautiful two-year-old, female, grey and cream tabby cat looking for a loving guardian - preferably with her son Squirt, a 14-week old grey tabby. Cuddles is very affectionate and friendly once you get to know her. Squirt is all kitten and brings out the best in his mom.

Cuddles is young and playful, and enjoys her toys. She uses her litter box and scratching post like a good cat. She is very healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and virus-tested negative. Her adoption fee of $95 benefits the Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control. Squirt is very healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and virus-tested negative.

They are currently living in a foster home in Chicago’s Beverly neighborhood. To meet and possibly adopt Cuddles and Squirt, please contact foster mom Kathy at kbwilson60612@yahoo.com or 773-266-2381.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cuddles & Squirt, a Chicago Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
